Who Are We
Shanghai Essilor Vision Foundation was established in Shanghai in September 2016. Like other Essilor Vision Foundations worldwide, it is committed to bringing better life to people in China who are suffering from poor vision.
Our Work
Promoting Visual Health
To carry out publicity and public education programs so that more people can learn the knowledge of visual problems and understand the importance of visual health.
Charity Programs
We work with foundations, NGOs and companies to carry out public welfare activities and charitable programs including vision screening, refraction and corrections to the most needed.
Building Local Capacity
Conduct other activities related to visual health, including capacity building and professional personnel development in areas that lack the basic vision check conditions.
Organization
The council is the highest decision-making body of the foundation and is responsible for making decisions on the major issues of the foundation.
The supervisors supervised the work of the foundation and the council in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Charter of the Foundation.
Under the leadership of the council, the secretariat executes the resolutions of the council to carry out the daily work of the foundation.
